This 1981 Mercedes-Benz 300TD was reportedly first delivered to Three Point Motors in British Columbia, Canada, and it was subsequently refurbished and modified during prior ownership. Work is said to include refinishing the exterior in Forest Green Metallic, fitting W126-sourced braking components, and installation of a 3. 8-liter V8 and four-speed automatic transmission sourced from a 1984 380SE. Additional equipment includes a self-leveling suspension, a sunroof, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Becker cassette stereo. The car was acquired in April 2021 by the seller, who has since added 1, 600 kilometers. Recent work included an oil change, rebuilding the alternator, repairing wiring, and replacing the rear window and front signal lights. This 300TD is now offered at no reserve in Canada with service records, a clean Carfax report, and British Columbia registration.
Originally finished in Light Ivory (623), the car was repainted Forest Green Metallic approximately 20 years ago according to the seller, who states that rust was repaired at the same time. Exterior details include chrome-finished trim, a sunroof, roof rails, an aftermarket third brake light, a replacement rear window, and a “380TE” tailgate badge. The clearcoat is failing on the roof, and close-up photos of the paint and bodywork are provided in the gallery. No accidents are listed on the Carfax report.

The cabin features seats trimmed in Palomino MB-Tex upholstery, color-coordinated door panels and carpets, and wood trim on the dashboard. The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 180-km/ h speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows under 127k kilometers (~79k miles).
The seller states that a 3. 8-liter M116 V8 sourced from a 1984 380SE model was installed approximately 20 years ago. Work performed in 2021 included an oil change, rebuilding the alternator, recharging the air-conditioning refrigerant, repairing wiring, and replacing the filters and front signal lights.
