1984 Lancia Beta HPE VX, one of only 186 made in RHD. This is number #016 in the Originale Italiano series and the final of 5 Beta VX's being done. This particular example is a 3 owner car but effectively it was only used by the first 2. Both these owners were Italian living in the UK and from new it was obviously cherished. Incredibly the body work was totally solid, the sills, floors, turrets, boot, doors etc were in fantastic condition. The exterior was given a top quality repaint only because of age related fading and the odd surface blemish. It would appear to have been garaged all of its life. It has been restored to as close to new as feasible, with a hard backed colour book detailing the work undertaken from start to finish. The interior is as new, all switch gear and instruments illuminate as they should. The original tool kit, emergency window winder handle, books, keys etc are all present. Invoices for all the new parts and a comprehensive build report is supplied which shows mechanically it has been completely overhauled to drive like it would back in 1984. Our previous HPE VX restoration #012 was sold at auction during the summer of 2021 for just under £25, 000 so these rare cars are now being appreciated the way they should be.
