Description
This 1966 morris minor is in lovely condition outside, inside and underneath. It has been well looked after all its life. It was first registered 13th april 1966 and at 56 years old both mot and road tax exempt. The v5 registration document shows the 1st owner as a lady in dorset from 1966 till 1986 when she passed the car to her daughter who kept it till 2010. on taking over the car she started to keep a hand written log of every fuel stop, work done and service made in detail. Only one family for 44 years. The next owner had it for 9 years before the last owner purchased the car in 2019. there is a large history file with 32 old mot's, 21 tax discs and lots of receipts for work done over the years going back to 1988. the file shows that the car has been very well cared for and a lot of the work done by the morris minor centre in bath. Amongst other items it has had all the wood replaced (in great condition), replacement engine (with unleaded head) and gearbox, new clutch and lots more. A full body restoration was done in 2018 with a full respray in the original rose taupe colour. It had inertia seat belts fitted, new fuel pump, radiator, brake rebuild, brake master, brake pipes, wheel cylinders, electric screen wash, windscreen rubber, water pump, heater valve, etc. The interior received a new set of carpets and a fantastic set of padded reclining front seats in matching red. The car starts on the button and drives really well with a fair turn of speed for 56 years old. The engine/ gearbox perform very well with no knocks or noises. The car is ready to use and enjoy.
