This is fantastic example of the CB750 originally titled in 1973, which has been imported from the US where it held a North Dakota title. It has been beautifully and sympathetically restored over the past few years and is in immaculate condition.
The paintwork is probably non original but has been done to an exceptionally high standard, I believe it’s called ‘sunrise orange’ and is stunning. The motorcycle was purchased by MIS at the Mecum auction in Las Vegas Nevada and exported to the UK where it has now been MOT’d (no advisories) and fully serviced. It’s a great bike that runs now as well as it did when it left the production line in Tokyo.
Investment potential
Honda CB750’s are always popular and prices have been rising steadily over the past decade, the very early 1969 ‘sandcast’ models are now selling at over £30k, the record for a CB750 being $148k for a sandcast pre-production model. Thankfully later models are still reasonably priced and affordable. This machine whilst in excellent condition can also be enjoyed as originally intended, it’s really fun to ride, fully serviced and really requires nothing other than ongoing TLC. It’s a very solid buy.
