This is an outstanding example of a rarely seen model of mk2 Golf.
Long MoT with all service items recently addressed.
For example:
- oil and filter change using mobil 1 and bosch filter.
-ngk spark plugs
-bosch wiper blades.
- bosch air filter
-complete radiator flush and replacement fluid.
- New vacuum and air hoses.
- new fuel filters.
- New cam and fan belts.
In addition the rear wiper motor has been serviced and now works correctly.
All controls work including the heater blower.
A set of four Vredestein tyres have been recently fitted.
The original steel wheels have been stripped and powder coated in the correct shade of silver, they look just right against the Mars red paintwork.
A high quality wax, bilthamber, has been injected into the frame via the bung holes giving peace of mind and preserving the original structure.
The car drives really well, no clunk's or knocks and with the 4+e gearbox relaxed motorway cruising is possible.
It is not perfect but is an extremely tidy example of a 1980s Golf that can be used as an everyday car, find another one!
