We are very pleased to offer a stunning 1997 Rover Mini Cooper finished in British Racing green with a contrasting white roof. It also has the very sexy Sportspack arches and wheels and chrome spotlights and an Aston filler cap. Imported form Japan in 2021 this Cooper has lived a charmed life in warmer climates and as such been preserved very well. Automatic Mini Coopers are rare especially in this specification.
On the road this Cooper drives very well. The fuel injected engine is almost silent and the Auto gearbox changes gear smoothly and precisely. I have always been a big fan of Auto Minis as they are so much fun to drive and they offer the true Go-kart experience, simply select drive and off you go. the four speed gearbox is nippy round town and also cruises with ease on the open road. Being a fuel injected Mini all you need to do to get out on the open road is turn the key and go. The handling is fantastic and it has also recently had four new tyres. This model also has servo assisted disc brakes. We have also just fitted a new CAT and a Maniflow exhaust system so it has the correct Cooper burble.
The interior is very well presented with a luxury feel with Burberry check half leather seats with matching door cards and steering wheel. The walnut dash has just been refurbished and it also has a Kenwood CD/. AUX. This Mini has also just had a brand new fabric roof liner with matching sun visors. This model also has rear seat belts and a drivers airbag and not forgetting fully functional Air Conditioning which is a real bonus on hot sunny days.
The Mini has a very solid shell and is body coloured underneath from its life in Japan. It has its original vented sills, and boot floor and appears to have all of its original panels. The paintwork is well presented for its 25 year vintage, it has the odd very minor blemish which does not detract from this awesome looking Cooper. We have also worked through this Cooper front to back and fitted many new parts as well as a full service and it has a long MOT so it is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
