Original matching numbers machine totally restored by the present owner
One previous owner the Gwent Police Force 51 police models were made in 1966
One of only three remaining in the UK
The other two are in the Glasgow police museum
This was the only 350 used by the police force and was retired in 1972 as larger capacity machines were then used
It was then used as a training machine for those wishing to get into the motorcycle section
The owner has the full history of the bike when used as a beat bike in Llangybi and Usk Still using it’s original standard pistons and now fitted with Boyer ignition system Painted in the original cellulose paint
All old parts have been saved
With photographs before and during restoration
There is a letter from the VMCC giving a history of these machines
