This is a very rare Evante grand Premio Mark 2, one of only seven manufactured by Evante Fleur De Lys before they went into liquidation in The late 1990s. Google face for more information.
The car is basically a lotus elan sprint convertible with a Ford Zetec 2 litre 135 bhp fuel injected engine driving through a type 9, 5speed gearbox and a ford differential and independent rear suspension. All the brakes are basically Ford and have all been replaced in the last thousand miles.
The body is a mix of glass fibre and carbon fibre which is amazingly rigid and sitting on a huge galvanised tubular chassis similar to the Lotus set up. I have owned the vehicle for over seven years and in that time I have done no more than 2000 miles in it. The car was repainted in Lotus Oxford blue about 5 years ago and the car has magnolia full leather interior, electric mirrors, Electric boat release and electric mirrors and magnolia/ dark blue carpets all in excellent condition for the year.
The hood is mohair with a very good rear screen and does not like not that it’s ever been out in the rain.
The wheels and tires are all brand-new, and the car benefits from a long MOT with no advisories.
The car currently is Sorned.
