As at home parked outside a snowy ski lodge in the alps as it is on the winding B roads of Yorkshire dales, this stunning Alpine 110 utility is the epitome of cool. Originally built by ourselves in 2011 it has been fantastically well cared for and continuously upgraded.
With its full external roll cage, roof rack and LED lighting throughout, this Defender is ready for every adventure you wish to take it on. Meticulously crafted originally and continuously improved and enhanced throughout its life, it is now bang up to date with our latest technologies.
As you would expect from any Twisted vehicle we have started from the ground up. The chassis has been specially coated to increase its lifespan and the handling has been dramatically improved with our progressive suspension system. This was developed over a two year period and provides a much more predictable and engaging drive. Alongside this, our 18” classic wheel finished in black with BF Goodrich tyre combination provides both incredible on and off-road control but also enhances the styling in a subtle and non audacious way that only we at Twisted can.
The crisp Fuji white exterior is brought to life with its colour matched KBX grills and vents and beautifully contrasted with the black detailing of the roll cage, roof rack and of course our wheels. Taking this further we have painted the crossmember in gloss black and the tubular rear step completes the look. Visibility is enhanced with LED headlights and a full length light bar mounted beneath the roof rack. During the day our daytime running light bumper provides both a touch of style but also extra visibility for other road users. An LED rear work light completes the lighting upgrades.
Moving inside the car has been fully stripped, our unrivalled soundproofing installed and recarpeted to provide an level of refinement usually unheard of in a Defender. On top of this our Recaro heated seats are in position and offer a fantastic level of comfort. The side bolster is low enough not to restrict access yet gives great support to hips and legs. With bases that are removable to allow access to the battery and jack we believe there is no more comfortable seating option. Recently upgraded, the double DIN head unit allows modern technologies such as Apple CarPlay, DAB radio and reversing camera meaning your favourite driving music is only a touch away.
The loadspace has not been forgotten and begins with a full height luggage partition. It has storage areas fitted to both sides and a mid level shelf installed so everything can be kept in its place. It is fully soundproofed, carpeted and a rubber mat on top to provide a non-slip surface for all your essentials.
You’d be mad to buy a used Twisted from anywhere else. While many pre-owned Defender® claim to be Twisted, only a handful have actually been built by us. So ours are certified and fully guaranteed.
We look closer, checking, repairing and upgrading wherever necessary. Only then, when we are sure it meets our exacting standards, will we issue a certificate for the logbook, protecting your investment. You can consider a Certified Twisted as good as new.
