EQUIPMENT
Sonic Blue metallic paintwork, Black/ Blue cloth sports seats, 16-inch alloy wheels, 5-speed manual transmission, AWD, Momo leather steering wheel, Leather gear knob, Height-adjustable driver’s seat, Electric windows, Electrically-adjustable door mirrors, Rear spoiler with integrated third brake light, Front fog lamps, Subaru cassette radio, Tailored supplying dealer carpet mats, Remote central locking and immobiliser, Space saver spare wheel, Spare key.
EXTERIOR
The gleaming Sonic Blue bodywork is free from any corrosion or significant marks and the paint still retains a deep lustful shine. The car presents in excellent factory-standard condition throughout with only a few light frontal stone chips and discreet imperfections to the rear bumper as evidence of its 21k miles. Looking closer there are no unsightly scrapes or major scratches, the lights are all clear and without any signs of moisture ingress, and there’s no lacquer peel to be found in common areas such as the bonnet scoop or vents. All the black plastic trims look very fresh with no sun damage or fading to note, and the glass appears original all round.
INTERIOR
The interior is also in remarkable condition with no notable wear to the seat bolsters or fabric. The dash and centre console look like new and pleasingly the original Subaru cassette player remains fitted having never been replaced with an aftermarket head unit. Other commonly worn items such as the steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever are all perfectly presented with excellent textures to the leather. The carpets are also pristine and are still protected in the footwells by the original dealer-supplied overmats. Everything works as it should and the boot area is also really tidy with only a few discreet marks to report.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Barely run-in with only 21k miles under its belt the Impreza feels as tight as a drum to drive, and even with such low mileage the accompanying service booklet is stamped 8 times. The last service was carried out in November 2021 at 20, 995 miles and included a timing belt change.
The engine bay is well presented, not overly dressed but in very good original condition with no signs of any modifications, accident damage or previous poor repair. We have just had a full mechanical inspection carried out by our trusted classic specialists and unsurprisingly the car boasts a clean bill of health.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
The factory 16-inch Subaru alloy wheels present really well with no unsightly curb marking and only a few very small age-related imperfections to note on close inspection. They are wrapped in Bridgestone rubber all round, with plenty of tread left at each corner. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition having just been treated to new pads all round.
HISTORY FILE
