1996 Eunos VR Combination A Limited Edition.
Wonderful specification and produced in limited numbers. Only 700 of my model were produced and is in it’s in the same original condition that it left the factory.(it even has the original radio fitted!) It’s in immaculate condition and a very rare appreciating classic.
Mine is a Combination A and finished in Wine Red with light tan leather seats with matching tan carpets and black trim. Also fitted with a light tan soft top which has been replaced with brand new mohair one with a glass rear window. It also comes with a matching Hardtop. This model was introduced in January 1996 with the 1. 8 engine only and mine was first registered in March of that year in Japan, imported by Goodwood Sports Cars in October 2015 who refurbished it for me and included fitting the new hood and Hardtop, reupholstering the seats and thoroughly checking over the car. It was, and remains completely rust free and you can even see the original spot welds on the rear arches.
Specification includes black leather-rimmed Momo steering wheel with alloy gearknob and alloy handbrake handle. Gear stick gaiter surround is finished in light alloy. There is a colour-coded 'Roadster' emblem enbroidered into the headrest of the leather seats. Stainless steel tread plates also carry the Roadster emblem.
15" BBS alloy wheels, upgraded suspension including Bilstein shock absorbers and thicker anti-roll bars and black engine bay strut brace. There is extra bracing around the diff/ rear underbody area.
My car is fitted with the Series II 1. 8 engine with a power increase to 133bhp, improved 16-bit ECU and lightweight flywheel. Final drive ratio is 4. 3:1 and a Torsen Limited Slip Differential is fitted.
Car will come complete with the Factory Hardtop, Hardtop storage cradle and cover and a tailored car weatherproof cover.
