Kept garaged by my late father, this 2002 V8 long wheelbase, four-door saloon is in fantastic condition and with just under 82, 000 miles it still drives like new . With an up to date MOT (02/ 23) it's been fully serviced and has no known mechanical or electrical faults and is ULEZ Compliant. Faults are minimal and can be seen in the photos.
With its 4. 0-litre V8 engine it flys and has a top speed of 150mph (0-60 in 6. 6 seconds). Built for comfort there are few nicer, quieter and more luxurious ways to drive, it's a dream to drive.
The metallic pacific blue bodywork is offset by the exterior chromed trim, including window frames, rain gutters, light cluster surrounds, radiator grille surround, and boot lid plinth. The electric tilt -and-slide sunroof and electric windows all work as they should, and seals tightly. There are rear parking sensors too.
A wood-and-leather steering wheel adds another layer of luxury, as do the oatmeal sheepskin over-rugs that protect the deep-pile carpets, ivory leather seats and the extensive use of burl walnut veneer. The driver and front passenger get heated electric seats and cupholders in the front armrests whilst rear seat passengers have their own walnut picnic tables and adjustable reading lights. The long wheel base provides considerably more rear legroom and gives it a limousine feel.
Music is taken care of via a Jaguar Alpine 320w audio system with CD multichanger and it even retains the original fixed Jaguar Motorola mobile telephone with hands-free function.
It's in great condition and hides its age well.
