We are delighted to present for sale our newest Special Edition, the John Brown 4×4 ‘STORMER’ (Build 001).
Externally, this Series 3 is finished in Land Rover® Defender XS Stornoway Grey, with black modular wheels and Goodyear Wrangler tyres with new sand canvas – the aim with this new edition is to create a Series 3 Land Rover® which looks the part in both Urban & Country Environments alike – as well as having that ‘go-anywhere’ ability associated with these models. There are lots of accessories to complete the look – the John Brown 4×4 wheel cover, the wheel spacers and wheel arch extenders to give a strong stance, front lampguards, defender style door mirrors for better visibility – the list goes on. In our opinion, we think it looks fantastic.
On the inside, there are a pair of deluxe highback seats, along with a seat belt bar meaning that driver and passenger can enjoy proper, 3 point seat belts. Door cards are fitted for a premium feel. There is a central cubby for storing items out of site, and a cupholder for that Costa/ McDonalds drivethrough. Deluxe matting is fitted to the footwells, and carpeting to the seat boxes to give a premium feel. The rear houses a pair of twin bench seats – the swingaway wheel cover can be opened to reveal the tailgate for loading passengers. This means 6 people, adults or children, can come on the journey. A load mat is fitted to the rear area to protect the floor from damage.
Out on the road, though, is where this Series 3 stands apart from the rest – the TDI engine gives nearly twice the horsepower of standard, and is mated to parabolic springs for a superior ride, and an overdrive so you really can exploit that extra speed to its fullest potential. A full, brand new, Steve Parker Exhaust is fitted – this gives a great (and addictive) engine tone. Silicon turbo hoses are fitted to give greater throttle response and maximise boost. The eye-catching looks mean that when you drive through the city centre, you get lots of admiring glances. Fuel Injection from the TDI means reliability is far improved over standard variants too.
