EXTERIOR
This is low mileage 330Ci Sport is finished in the deep shade of Orient Blue which makes for a very pleasing combination with the cream leather interior. The current owner has treasured this example and it really does present in immaculate condition; the paintwork has been fully detailed, the car has been kept in his garage and it’s almost completely perfect with only a couple of tiny stone chips on the front and a small chip on the edge of the driver’s door. A very nice option is the removable hardtop which is also in excellent condition with only a couple of minor marks at the edge where it sits on the stand. All of the lights are moisture and crack-free other than a little hazing on the offside reversing light.
INTERIOR
The cream leather interior has stood the test of time extremely well; the leather retains its matte textured finish and other than a small crease to the drivers bolster it’s completely free of other wear. The trim around the dashboard and centre console are all in immaculate condition with only a couple of tiny fingernail marks to the ashtray lid, the steering wheel and gear knob are also excellent and the door cards are free of any marks other than a tiny indentation on the bottom edge of the driver side. Everything works exactly as it should including the electric memory seats and air conditioning. The carpets are all spotless and are protected with the original BMW overmats, and the rear seats are without fault. The boot area is also very tidy with no stains to the carpet and inside you’ll find an indoor car cover, wind deflector, and a hardtop stand with cover. All of the tools are also present and in immaculate condition.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Opening the bonnet reveals an immaculate engine bay in extremely clean condition with no signs of corrosion to the ancillary parts and only some minimal oxidisation to some of the aluminium parts. These models are well renowned for their excellent power plant which sounds incredibly smooth and provides plenty of acceleration in a smooth comfortable manner. Out on the road this example drives exactly as it should shifting through the gears smoothly with minimal road noise and no vibrations.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
The current owner had the alloys refurbished by Lepsons a couple of years ago and all of the badges replaced; they remain in as new condition other than a very light scuff to the edge of the passenger front wheel. All the alloys are shod in an excellent set of matching Bridgestone tyres and the brakes are free from significant wear, remaining in fine working condition.
HISTORY FILE
This example comes with a full and comprehensive service history. It has been maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations with a total of 9 stamps in the original service book, the first 6 being BMW main dealers and the last three BMW independent specialists. The last service was done in October 2020 at 66k miles and was the big Inspection II service, alongside this a new alternator and rear shocks were fitted. All of the services stamped in the book are also backed up with a file full of invoices detailing the service and maintenance work that’s been carried out from new. The mileage is then further backed up with a raft of old MOT certificates. The original document pack is also with the car with all of the owners manuals and spare keys.
