This BMW originally left the factory in November 1960. The first registration was in Germany, after which the car came to the Netherlands in 1965. The current owner has owned the BMW since 1987.
In the 1970s the interior was reupholstered with black skai upholstery.
Originally, according to the birth certificate, the car left the factory in the 'Nachtblau'. In 2005 the car was repainted in the 'Blaugrau'. This metallic paint is a very nice combination with the black interior, which is finished with a beautiful wooden dashboard. The switches and gear knob are in the 'Elfenbein'.
The sand/ both carpet has recently been renewed and is beautifully finished with a trim.
The very extensive well-documented history consists of a binder with, among other things, the birth certificate, invoices (worth € 14, 500 and a recent valuation report.
In 2007 the engine was thoroughly overhauled and fitted with new bearings, piston rings and seals. The clutch plate is provided with new friction material. The Dunlop braking system has recently been overhauled.
The ignition is equipped with a 'Velleman' electronic transistor ignition.
Another fun bit of BMW trivia: did you know that the clock in the ceiling can be wound manually?
The body has great fits of the sills, fenders, doors, hood and trunk lid.
This unique Barock Angel is a feast for the eyes of the BMW enthusiast!
