Top of the 164's range for u. s., the "s" -equivalent to the european "quadrifoglio" -was equipped with a lot of extra equipment respect the eu version , not even available as option .
car from california in total original condition, never accidented and absolutely rust free.
surely repainted some time ago -very good work- the classic "alfa red" is perfectly shinning and uniform all around the car. Not one defect, dent, chip or sign on the paint.
the bumpers and side skirts are still untouched and have some patina , but under our view don't deserved a new paint.
all windows are original including the windshield.
the car came with an "aftermarket" wheels , and we decided install a completely new original set that we had preserved in our parts warehouse.
of course we mounted a new set of tires ,"michelin primacy".
interior is completely original , never was restored or detailed.
the specific and special interior with the characteristic black leather combined with red sewings , make this 164 one of the most attractive versions.
the leather is untouched without cracks or anormal wear. However the california sun caused some fade marks in the blue moquette.
a new 164's original floor-mats are including with the car.
instead the leather dashboard and headlining (usual 164 defects) are in very reasonable condition.
all electric services works fine including the electric and heated seats (also rear) , the sunroof, the radio or the climatisation.
trunk lining is perfect and spare wheel never was used.
the technical condition is the strongest point of this car, with a fantastic engine and transmission . the car received an extensive service in alfa specialist including new time belt and water pump, all fluids and filters and a complete overview of the front train.
the electronic suspension works perfect without alerts and with correct change of hardness when push the "sport" button.
surely one of the best 164's version , with a very good tuned v6 engine , short gearbox ratios and handling improved respect the precedent "standard" 3. 0 v6.
car have the tools set complete, as well the owner's literature and double keys.
