This is a wonderful example of an authentic and original matching numbers right hand drive Lotus Elan series 2. The car has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration, while still trying to retain as much as possible of the original 1965 parts, which keeps the soul of the car intact. This makes for a perfect 60s Lotus style drive, which few other cars can replicate. This particular Elan model is quite rare since it is one of the few remaining original spec pre-65 Type 26 road cars. Even more so because this example has the factory optional close ratio gearbox and slightly higher final drive ratio. Completely original spec, except for adjustable rear uprights.
