Description
Power steering, 4 speed with electronic overdrive. fuel injected. Power Assister Discs. Restored in 1993 using all new factory panels that are no longer available. The car was bought by the second owner in 2019 having been owned by the original owner for 47 years. In 2021 the car had electric steering fitted which allowed modern tyres that improved from taking advantage of the powered steering. Whilst the car was fitted with new tyres the undercarriage was professionally fully undersealed with Ziebart sealant although on inspection the coating was still excellent. Copies of the blue prints going back to the 60s when the design for the shooting brake was first signed off are also available. The quality of the build from Volvo is outstanding and these cars are rare in numbers as production was only in 1972 and 1973 and many considered on of the most outstanding designs in automotive history.
