A one of fiat limited to a 1000 run this one is No 162 of a 1000 , Open to sensible genuine offers
In superb nearly factory fresh condition
One lady owner from 1979 with 6 miles on speedo till when I bought it over two years ago .
They meticulously maintained it , never wen out in rain .
The last 22 years before I bought it was in a heated garage and only came out for mot.
There are none of these left now in this condition , there are a couple of ones needing lots of work
This is all original , no bodywork done whatsoever,
It has a huge service and repair receipt book from new
Also it has a diary inside which records every litre of petrol put in it from 1979
All original keys, fobs are with it everything kept from new
I could go on but won’t
It’s a very desirable little 126
Differences were
Voxson radio
Dashboard and steering wheel different
Plus carpets and headlining
Cloth interior
Pinstripes and decals , also reversing lights as well not on others
Wheel trim centres also tinted windows all round with opening rear windows .
waxoiled regularly by previous owner
Driving it’s very nice
Body wise pictures say it all jet black and it’s same on the underside
Interior under carpets as well it’s new
As with fiats they do have faults
They are as follows with this one
One very small bubble under pinstripe o/ s wing but hard to see
Battery light is on but has been on since I had it , I have had it checked twice and battery charging fine
I did ask previous owner about this and he said from new it’s always been on and off and he had it checked quiet a few time by fiat dealership then
Himself changed the appropriate parts but still came on sometimes
New battery just fitted, thought it was starter but wasn’t …..
