The Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost was built from 1906. The car was ahead of its time and had the best technology available at the time. It was very reliable for its time and required hardly any maintenance. Soon this car gained the reputation of being the best car in the world. Only in 1925, after 8416 pieces, production was terminated.
The name Silver Ghost originally meant only one specific copy. Only when a successor model came on the market was the name used for all copies of this model.
The car comes from a Dutch collection, where the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost has remained for more than 28 years and hardly used in that time. The Dutch collector bought the car from a Swiss family at the time. The Rolls Royce is in excellent condition, both in terms of interior and exterior.
