1998 Volvo 940 Celebration 2. 3 LPT. One of the final 940s made, lovely condition, lots of money spent recently. Metallic green with half leather interior. Working AC, heated seats, electric mirrors and windows. On standard 15” wheels now.
Good points:
- Two owners from new
- Very low mileage for one of these of just over 90, 000
- Full service history
- Recently serviced with new belts
- AC regassed a few months ago and blows cold
- New rear lights and front side lights
- New ignition leads
- Steering column rebuilt with new bearings (common issue on these causing a nasty noise)
- Very solid underneath with a clean MOT until November
- Newly reproduced dealer number plates
- Clean interior with everything working
Bad points:
- Scratch down drivers side, think it’s been keyed before I owned the car
- Small patch of rust right at the bottom of the passenger rear wheel arch. Not bad at all
- Airbag light on. Replaced the clock spring and it came on after that so should just need clearing
