1975 Fiat 128 3p Berlinetta - MOT and Tax Exempt
I imported this car from Greece last year, it has been UK registered as a HISTORIC vehicle and I have the logbook in my name.
In the last year I have had the following work done to make it safer for the UK roads.
Drive shaft boot
Engine oil, filters and plugs
Lower front suspension arms
Steering gear
It will need a some small amount of welding but nothing major
The car was originally blue but was been painted black some years ago, it looks really well, especially with the SPORT decals.
The original engine has been replaced at some point in its life for a 1500cc Lancia Delta 4 cylinder OHC engine with a 5 speed gearbox.
Steel wheels with excellent tyres. The original Fiat steering wheel has been put back on the car.
It starts easily using the choke and then runs very well. Very steady runner. It does not overheat and the cooling fan cuts in as it should. The lights all work, as do the aftermarket horn, windscreen wipers and washers. The manual window winders work perfectly.
I have a full set of keys for all doors, boot and fuel cap.
I will be very sad to see this car go, my first ever car was a 128 3p, but I am selling a few of my Italian classics to fund something else.
