Description
Volvo 940 Celebration 2. 3 LPT. Automatic. Metallic Blackberry Wine. Half leather seats. Registered November 1997, 3 previous owners. Excellent condition overall. Drives beautifully with no warning lights.
It has been serviced and maintained regularly since I bought it in 2019 by an independent Volvo specialist garage. Recent work done includes:
* new brake pads
* new Volvo engine breather box and hoses
* various new hoses (including brake servo, vacuum hose to turbo actuator, oil cooler and various other aged hoses and drive belts)
* new radiator
* replacement Volvo horn (from a V70), horn buttons and SRS contact ring
* replacement Volvo fuel sender unit
* gear box oil change and new selector rod bushes
* replacement Volvo water pump
* replacement Volvo exhaust
The cambelt was replaced with a Volvo original just before I purchased the car in 2019. Since 2013 it had been serviced at two London based independent Volvo specialist garages.
Electric door mirrors and electric windows all working. Alarm and central locking working. Two sets of keys, and one remote locking alarm fob. Original Volvo radio working. Roof rails.
Points to note:
Heated passenger seat works but driver's side heated seat is not working.
Air conditioning not currently working and drive belt removed, but that could be reinstated and re-gassed.
Bodywork is in good condition with no rust, but there are some cosmetic bodywork scratches and small dents commensurate with a family car of its age. Door cards in excellent condition all round, but there is a repaired crack to the plastic door bin on passenger side.
Fitted with a single electric Witter tow bar (i. e. no caravan towing). Volvo rubber floor mats, load tray and load cover all included.
Reluctant sale of this much loved and cherished family car.
