For sale a 1973 Fiat X1/ 9 Bertone first series restored following Abarth specifications, with original Italian plates and documents.
The car has been completely restored for two years with extremely rare pieces: fenders, roof, bonnets and periscope in fiberglass from the Abarth Works Museum in Belgium, Abarth wheels and steering-wheel, Carello Megalux and Supermegalux headlights, Fusina seats, Vitaloni mirrors, Jaeger, VDO and Veglia instruments according to the original scheme, etc.
Also the mechanical parts have been completely revised and improved: the displacement is increased to 1500cc, the engine (that has about twice the power of a standard X1/ 9) has been upgraded with a Gozzoli racing camshaft, lightened connecting rods, 8 oversized valves, lightened flywheel, two 44 Weber carburetors, a stainless steel exhaust, 5-speed close-ratio gearbox, new brakes and shock absorbers, etc.
