The breaks were soggy because the servo was leaking as was the break diverter valve on the opposite wing,
I have now ordered these two items and will have them fitted asap, and then it will be ready for sale again.
Just as well I refused to sell to anybody and they drove away
I am selling due to very poor health @ 65 with Two new knees and a bout of covid I am done, simply unable to bend squat kneel all the things you must be able to to work on a car are out the window. I need a classic auto that requires no work.
So This is my 5 speed SDi box 3ltr Rover conversion fully rebuilt It Runs and drives great with one hell of an engine note ( roars like a rutting Lion ) I bought it to work on, but in fact, have done nearly nothing most if not all was done prior to purchasing, Stainless steel exhaust, Polly bush`s on the rear, New break callipers and pads, soft top in great condition all new carpets in boot. Electric fan Body solid under and panels interior carpets are ok. Dry stored with cover
Things to do: Door cards and covers U. S. interior light covers perished, window switch`s to be renewed (windows operate) Crap door mirrors need replacing I have an original set in the boot, Paint ok for now but will need tidying later, Roof goes up and down but is tight to tuck away as nearly new and stiff, The fuel pump is noisy but works ok, The filler cap pops open, Boot lid lights are u. s work on lid required, I would fill and swop to bumper light.
This is not a show car but could easily be a lovely Sunday car to enjoy.
I have tried to be as honest and straight as possible.
