Silver Metallic with heated black leather interior.
This is a genuine one owner from new car (no previous owners) and has been carefully maintained and driven just about every one of its current 119, 000 mileage by one person.
This is an amazingly original vehicle and a rare find for any enthusiast. The bodywork and interior are all original, except for the fitment of colour-coded door handles some years ago (the originals are made of a material that fades in sunlight and were looking tired; they have been kept and will come with the vehicle) and the recent professional refurbishment of the alloy wheels.
All documents are present – V5, MOT certificates, the original handbook/ manuals/ service pack and two remote fob keys as supplied from new.
This Volvo has an amazing service history record comprising a carefully compiled ring binder chock-full of service invoices, other documentation and a stamped service book.
The original bill of order/ sale/ registration is present and the car still wears the supplying dealer’s sticker in the back screen (Murrays of Paisley).

It even has the original plastic inserts which cover the holes that the retractable load cover sits in (should it be removed, if the two extra rear seats are deployed. Stops the kids sticking their fingers where they shouldn’t!).
All seven seats (rear two seats have been used maybe twice in the vehicle’s life) are in very good condition, no rips/ tears etc in the leather. Carpets are all good.
Usual SE spec with everything in working order:
Power steering, ABS, central locking, electric windows and mirrors, air-conditioning (blows cold), cruise control, heated front seats (2 stage), alloy wheels, multi-CD player/ stereo, electric driver’s seat adjustment, roof rails etc, etc.
The original Volvo 18” alloy wheels have all just been professionally refurbished/ powder coated and done 10 miles home, that’s it. All tyres are Continental Cross Contacts as per manufacturer’s recommendation (I don’t believe the vehicle has ever been fitted with a different brand/ model of tyre) and have good tread left.
A brand new Enduroline heavy duty battery was fitted late 2020 after the car had stood for a long while during Covid lockdown, but we kept the original Volvo battery for posterity! It does actually still hold a charge. Again, this will come with the vehicle.
A couple of points to note:
There is a very small dink on the NSF wing and another under the waistline on the NSF door, both came free of charge at the supermarket carpark. A few touch-ins here and there commensurate with age. The sump guard panel has picked up stone chips throughout its life and would benefit cosmetically from a refurb. Other than these bits (which emphasise the originality of the vehicle), the bodywork is in pretty excellent order for its vintage.
In summary, an amazingly original and well-cared-for example and an exciting prospect for any enthusiast, particularly one of a Volvo persuasion.
The vehicle is located west of Glasgow, not far from the airport. Local transport links are good and I can help with collection from the airport/ train station if required.
