Description
Here is my 1999 Honda VFR 800 FI for sale, arguably the sweet spot in what is considered one of the most complete motorcycles ever made, being the RC46 model but also a 1999 model year, so it's pre HISS and pre cat converter.
It has covered only 21, 918 miles and was supplied new by Two Wheels in Edinburgh and I'm the 4th owner, the first owner had the bike for 14 and a half years, initially it was serviced by Two Wheels but then fastidiously maintained by the owner who logged all services in the book including make of oil and exhaust downpipe painting. I believe the bike was then part ex'd with Two Wheels and sold by them again to the second owner in 2013, note it still wears the dealer number plate. The second owner had is for 2 years and then the third for nearly 7, coming to me after that.
If you're looking at this ad then you're likely aware of what great bikes these are so i won't go on about the model itself.
My bike is in very good condition considering the age and that its an original bike, and comes with some excellent preventative maintenance and upgrades consisting of;

It comes with the rear seat cover as well and combined with the carbon parts/ screen/ exhaust gives it a pretty sporty look.
The sale includes the original mudguard, rear grab handles, original silencer, a Givi rack, and a R&G heated grip system with brand new grips.
I have the original handbooks, owner card, original keys (spare still with Two Wheels key ring on) and some documentation/ invoices/ old MOT's.
It has Bridgestone tyres and chain/ sprockets have plenty of life in them still as far as I can see. Everything on the bike works.
It's an original bike so being fussy the wheels and fork bottoms could be repainted, but it still presents very well and I do like the fact it hasn't been messed with personally.
I love this bike as its just so good at everything and the V4 engine gives it real character, its a regretful sale but with other bikes and the need to upgrade my car I will sell it if the right buyer comes along.
