This beautiful 1949 Matchless 500cc G80 Rigid/ Tele was restored around 20 years ago then put into a private museum, prior to that it seems to have been tucked away since the beginning of the 1970's because this bike comes with all but one tax disc from new up to 1970, it has it’s original 1949 fuel rationing book and it’s original Buff logbook showing only 2 owners from new and still retains it’s original registration number, it also comes with 4 insurance certificates from the sixties, still in wonderful condition apart from a couple of very minor paint issues, I have just gone through the whole bike to make sure it’s safe and everything works correctly, the magneto has just been completely overhauled so it now runs sweet, this bike looks good and rides great, ready to be used
