History
A sublimely beautiful, pure and Ferrari Dino 208 GT4 in the stylish and rare color Azzuro Mettallizato. The Dino GT4 is the only series production Ferrari ever designed by the famous design house Bertone. The pioneering design of the Dino GT4 is by the legendary Marcello Gandini; the man who in the past was also responsible for eccentrics such as the Lamborghini Miura, Countach and Diablo, as well as the iconic Lancia Stratos.
Gandini delivered a radical design with the Dino GT4 in 1973. The Dino is characterized by sharp, clean lines, which are typical of the famous 'space age' era. The Dino GT4 is also the first series-produced Ferrari with a mid-engine V8 ever, essentially the ancestor of the many Ferrari V8 models that followed. Moreover, it is one of the few cars that is equipped with a 4-seater mid-engine configuration; a unique concept.
Why Enzo Ferrari also built the Dino 208 GT4 from 1975 next to the Dino 308 GT4? Because from that moment on in Italy suddenly extra tax had to be paid for cars with an engine capacity of more than 2000cc. Lamborghini and Maserati therefore also built two-liter versions of the Urraco and the Merak respectively. Intended exclusively for the Italian market, only a little over 800 units of the two-litre Dino GT4 had been produced when this tax evader was replaced in 1980 by the 208 GTB, the two-litre variant of Pininfarina's 308.

About this Dino
DINOF106KL13356 left the Maranello factory on February 18, 1977 and was originally white (Bianco Polo Park). The Ferrari was purchased by the first (Italian) owner on June 30 that same year. It was then painted red in the 1990s and Azzuro Mettallizato was chosen during the restoration, an original Ferrari color for a 1977 Dino GT4.
This Dino was completely restored by the renowned Dutch Ferrari dealer Kroymans, during a 4-year (2015 ? 2020) bare-metal restoration, on behalf of the last (Dutch) owner. No expense has been spared to bring the car into absolute top condition, while retaining the original patina. As a result, it is now one of the most beautiful Dino GT4s in the world.
The entire restoration process, including engine and gearbox overhaul, bodywork, interior, clutch, air conditioning, brakes, the right badges, suspension, shock absorbers, wheels, etc. etc. is extensively documented. Since the restoration was completed in October 2019, the Dino has only driven a few hundred kilometers.

To drive
Formula 1 legend Niki Lauda, who was employed as a driver at the Italian racing stable at the time, was closely involved in the development of the Dino GT4. So it's no wonder that the model also excels in driving characteristics. The driving experience that this Ferrari offers was (and is) widely acclaimed, and is still nothing short of spectacular today. The seating position and the way in which the interior is built around the driver, as it were, is most reminiscent of the advanced cockpit of a real Le Mans racer.
The mechanical symphony of the 2. 0 liter 8-cylinder with double overhead camshafts and four twin Weber carburettors is a true delight for all the senses. The way in which gearbox, chassis and steering complement each other makes this Ferrari the unadulterated, pure driver's car that makes many enthusiasts mouth water from the first second.
