For sale a lovely well looked after 1961 short wheel base 88" land rover series 2 . the original 2. 25 litre petrol engine and gearbox are in excelent working order. The car benefits from a fully galvanised chassis replaced in 2011 by previous owner. The 4 wheel drive works as it should and 4 tyres were replaced in my ownership still with plenty of tread. I replaced the canvas roof a few years ago and it is still in very good condition. The car is also fitted with a new fan heater in the cabin. The exhaust system was replace a few years ago and is still in excellent condition.
the car comes with a host of new spare parts included in the sale.
all invoices for parts are available to see during my ownership but sadly the previous owner was only able to offer me the v5 documents.
