The 1929 Model 70 Roadster presented here is a most beautiful example - one that no doubt has been treasured its entire life.
It shows today in very beautiful condition, appearing to have had one repaint in the past in what we understand to be its original color scheme.
Mechanical - Recent recommissioning work by Auto Restorations (NZD15379. 00) - see photos - car drives beautifully and is very well sorted. Receipts available.
Interior fully reupholstered at some point is original and correct.
Good body and paint - The red colour suits the car very well and it sits proudly on large artillery wheels with purposeful blackwall tires.
The engine bay is nicely detailed, but retains a functional like appearance.
The large radiator and headlamps dominate the front end.
This delightful Chrysler 70 is a car that one would be proud to show off on the open road - an ideal entrant for long distance touring events such as Alpine Rallies and similar events. Few cars of the era can match the Chrysler Model 70 for its sporting pedigree, rarity, and exceptional engineering all at a price that makes it attainable for the average enthusiast.
Very rare nowadays - this is a great example, that can only appreciate in value. A beautiful vintage car that can be driven anywhere - not to be missed.
