It a cb450 k0 dkit
A high pipe off road genuine honda dealer kit made at the final run of the k0 model.
Sent out in silver , blue or sunburst red
This obviously is the red version…copied from a pair of nos side panels I acquired still in the boxes and like new.
This is a genuine 60’s d kit bike as you can see from one of the pictures as found in a USA barn .
This is not a bomber with a kit slung on it .
This as i say was imported from the USA by myself as a barn find
It is the original frame… and the engine was saved also so it is a matching …well as matching numbers bike as Honda’s ever get.
I hunted high and low for parts to complete.
It has
NOS tank
NOS front and rear mudguards. Front still has honda part number sticker
NOS seat still has part number sticker
NOS handle bars
NOS speedo
NOS RHS pipe
NOS left silencer that has been grafted onto the original down pipe
NOS exhaust heat guards
NOS pipe hangers
NOS loom
NOS starter solenoid
NOS rectifier
NOS rear d kit foot peg brackets
NOS tank rubbers
NOS headlight unit sealed beam
NOS air filters and associated parts
Loads more but the list is extensive and expensive???
Obviously all bushes bearings were replaced
Engine has had a complete rebuild as it was shot
All genuine OEM parts were used where available.
All rubber parts were sourced from USA and are new.
It’s covered about 25 miles since rebuild and is running great
It is still being run in and shaken down.
It is running great and rides like a dream.

This is a very rare bike with only a handful in the world and very few of them are genuine 60’s kit bikes.
I still have a copy of the original title the DVLA kept the original , i also have the original number plate front the bike when found.
Also I managed to save one USA tax sticker dated 1973 on one of the fork shrouds from Missouri
