Our 1977 UK bike has been tastefully restored and has had just 5 owners from new, built upon a Honda CB750-four and repainted by Dream Machine in the historic Phil Read racing colours. Supplied with a host of paperwork including magazine articles, Haynes manual, David Silver parts receipts and engine rebuild receipts.
The Honda CB750 Four is a four-cylinder transverse engine, and was a big hit with the public at its introduction in 1968 and has since become a collectors favourite. It was unlike anything Honda had produced for the public, and frightfully similar to their race bikes, with the first mass-production in-line four-cylinder engine.
Phil Read entered TT events from 1977, winning the F1 (Formula 1) race on the works Honda CB750 SOHC and finishing 4th in the 1978 classic.
