Finished in Silver gris metallise with blue interior
Supplied new on 26th July 1976 by Citroen agent California Autocentre of Birmingham to a Mr Nightingale of Bridgenorth. A fastidious owner who owned the car for most of its life. Records indicate that apart form a few hundred miles covered since a recent recommission, Mr Nightingale was responsible for all of the mileage on the odometer. A handwritten log of this mileage and works carried out is included in the history file. Also included in the file are a number of old MOT certificates (all carried out in the Bridgenorth area and nearly all at the same garage!). The original service booklet remains with the car which has early servicing stamps logged by California Autocentre, along with the original owners manual in the Citroen wallet.
More recently the car has had extensive recommissioning carried out by renowned Citroen specialist Chevronics Centre Ltd of Hitchin at a cost of over £4, 000. As would be expected, Chevronics were highly complimentary about the condition.
A very rare opportunity to acquire an early series, right hand drive CX in such a well preserved condition.
