What a cracker this little moggy is, she’s a 1967 Morris minor 1000 2 door.
Originally the car was bought from the London area, but has spent a lot of years up here in Yorkshire. It was restored in 2010 and there is a photo album showing this, all the rotten metal work was cut out and new metal let in where needed. The engine and all running gear was replaced/ rebuilt where needed and it benefited from having a couple of upgrades which included alternator conversion, brake servo, modern wiring loom etc.
The car drives fantastic, plenty of poke from the little 998cc engine, the gears change smoothly with no crunching and the brakes are very good with the upgraded servo.
The interior is in lovely condition, the seats are all lovely and springy and haven’t collapsed like they normally do, it recently received a full new carpet set which really finishes the interior off.
The body work is in nice condition, it has a few minor blemishes but nothing major, it has a fantastic shine, the chrome work is also in good order with a only few small marks.
This little moggy is super solid underneath as all the work has been done previously and looks to be done to a high standard.
I have stacks of paperwork, including the original hand books and service book, a photo album and loads of receipts.
Overall she’s a little beauty, she gets loads of looks everywhere you go and people complementing how nice she is, as I said the car isn’t perfect but it’s a very good user and a ideal starter classic, you won’t find a better one at this money.
