First registered on 12th December 1973. The passport to service shows it was supplied new to Mason Owen & Partners in Liverpool and supplied through Voss Motors Ltd, Austin House, Hanover Street, Liverpool. The V5 records the first owner from registration date until 1978 when it was passed to the founder of the V8 register and former parts manager at British Leyland agents University Motors Peter Beadle
Looking at the history file it was probably put into storage around 2005 as this is when the last mot certificate was issued when the mileage was recorded at 87321. It was later purchased by the proprietor of a local marque specialist who undertook a full restoration including new sills and castle sections etc. It was then repainted in its original Damask red, together with refurbished wheels
The Mg is now superbly presented throughout and has had little use since completion, with the mileage displayed at 88120. It will be sold with a new mot and ready to enjoy. This is certainly a rare opportunity to purchase a low ownership and very genuine V8.
