Vintage Motors is proud to present the 1978 Mercedes Benz C107 450 SLC
I had the pleasure of driving this stunning example over 300km yesterday on the beautiful open road. Now getting use to any “new-old car” is an adjustment that does not always come easy, but sliding into the drivers position was real quick and super comfortable.
The 3 mirrors adjusted well and without any struggle and so did the seat too, the gear stick slotted into “Drive” as like the day it came of the showroom floor, I can’t really put it into words, it felt like I was ‘swept’ back to 1979 and just went to pick up my very first Benz
Simplicity and elegance
At its finest.
The electric sunroof opens with ease at the touch of a button, but the ice cold aircon felt better at the time.
With 117*** km on the clock, and a recent assessment and minor maintenance done by Mercedes Benz Stellenbosch, it’s quite clear this coupe is well maintained and is amazing, near original condition.
