Manufactured between 1962 and 1964, the Studebaker Gran Turismo (GT) Hawk was a grand touring coupe sold by Studebaker motors. The top of the Studebaker line, it was the final development of the Hawk series that began with the Golden Hawk in 1956.
One of 4, 634 GT Hawks manufactured in 1963, the example offered was imported into the United Kingdom in 2021 with it understood to have resided in California, the United States from manufacture until then. Fitted with the 4. 7-litre 289cu Ford V8 engine allied to the automatic transmission, the Studebaker is finished in patinated Black paintwork with Red leather interior upholstery which presents very well. In running condition but has not been driven since importation by the vendor in 2021, ‘AFM 978A’ is a prime candidate for recommissioning or restoration. Accompanied by two sets of keys and a V5C document.
