Suzuki SJ off roader with V5. This is a 1983 so will be tax and MOT exempt next year. Plates removed for photos but with the car.
Fitted with a Nissan/ Datsun engine believed to be from a 120Y. Ran fine but now a non runner believed to be due to a starter motor issue. Also has no battery.
Been bashed and abused but surprisingly solid and has roll cage. Passenger door damaged and glass smashed when it was broken into when larger fancier wheels were stolen. Now on standard SJ and Jimney wheels. Originally yellow but over painted in silver hamerite without preparation so most flaked off and rest no doubt removed with a steam clean! Long way off passing an MOT but with work could be done if you needed to. The last photo is of an A35 monster truck. I purchased this SJ to do a similar project but it is too good to use it for this purpose. Nicer SJ’s are now making serious money and this could be worth resorting or is a good free tax ID for your newer SJ or have some good spares.
