Citroen HY van with wheeler dealers engine conversion carried out by Dragon Classics at a cost of £7000
It’s currently kitted out as a Camper van which sleeps three. Two on the rock and roll bed and one across the front seats, we used it in conjunction with a tent for the kids.
It has Dometic fridge hob and gas heater along with spotlights in the ceiling.
Mileage says 106, 000 km although I’ve no way of verifying this.
MOT until May 2024
I’ve just had new brakes and cylinders put in on the front along with a master cylinder at a cost of £1200. Also had a general service carried out.
In addition, the rear brakes have now been serviced and new cylinders and shoes fitted
It’s probably one of the best you will find as the mechanics are excellent and whilst there are dings and rust spots it’s all fairly minor and the chassis is great.
The massive advantage this van has is that it drives with a proper engine.
Could easily be converted as has catering flap
