Harley Earl and company attended to Chevrolet's first postwar restyle using the company's prewar shells until 1949 when dramatic change was to be made with some of Chevy's best looking cars ever made to date, and which were to be precision built as well. By 1950-52, the introduction of the Deluxe Styleline series now included its top-of-the-line Bel Air. Indeed there's no better example of GM's styling and engineering prowess in the fifties than these Chevrolet's.
One of the USA's most recognized classic cars ever, the top-of-the-line Bel Air series, was introduced as a stand alone model for the 1953 model year, replacing the previous DeLuxe Styleline series. It was to become the most desirable Chevrolet model of the 1950's, offering a balance of style and luxury appointments unavailable in the base 150 & 210 series and offered in a wide range of body styles, including a convertible, Sport Coupe hardtop, two- and four-door sedans and four-door station wagons.
This particular 1952 Chevrolet 2 Door Deluxe Styleline Hardtop example was recently frame off restored and customized with no expense spared with only some 2, 000 miles on the build since its restoration. In summary this must be one of the finest custom examples anywhere of a fully operational and turn-key customized 1952 Chevrolet KK Deluxe Styleline 2 Door Hardtop with upgraded modern components yet which still has a classic original look as well as all the modern day custom upgrades and technical advances - a wonderful example of America's favorite 1950's classic car and a wonderful addition to any custom hot rod enthusiasts collection!
