I bought 'Dorothy' in 2010 and have loved owning her. Sadly, work and the state of the roads around home are preventing me from using her and rather than her start to deteriorate, I have sadly decided to sell. I would like her to go to a good home where she will continue to be loved, used and sympathetically maintained.
Dorothy is a Mk2 Ruby and was fully restored in the 1980s. Her paintwork has some blemishes and there are a few blisters, but no rust or rot. During my ownership she has been maintained to a high standard which has included an engine (3 bearing) and back axle rebuild in 2011, new radiator, new brakes all-round (cable brakes), the trafficators have been rebuilt, she's had a new exhaust and a new battery (6 volt) was fitted in in 2021. Many other small repairs have been made to keep her running and road-worthy, always using original parts where possible. Numerous spares are included in the sale. Dorothy does need a little TLC, but the photos are a fair representation.
