Here we have for sale our stunning Honda VTR1000-SP2. This unique example has covered just 6, 300 miles and is in immaculate condition and one of the best we have been lucky enough to have in our stock.
Our 2003 UK example is unique by virtue of the fact that it is supplied in the Laguna Seca Colin Edwards livery, one of only fifteen in that scheme commissioned by Honda and painted by renowned paint shop "Spray Bay" complete with letter of authenticity.
The bike is fitted with a "Fuel" exhaust system, upgraded rear sets, gear change indicator, crash bobbins and also comes with the original hand book and service book and a CD-Rom with workshop manuals, parts catalogues, riders manual etc... The bike will benefit from a service and full MOT prior to sale.
The SP1 helped Honda achieve an important World super bike Championship victory in 2000 after three years of disappointment dominated by the powerful v-twin Ducati's. However in 2000 The Honda VTR-SP1 also featured a 90-degree V-twin contributing to its championship success. After the success of the VTR1000 SP-1 Honda's updated SP2 introduced a new press-forged longer swingarm, more rigid frame/ engine interface, improved fuel injection with 12 jet injectors for more power, 30mm taller screen for better protection, better looking indicators, new exhaust system, new 5-spoke wheel design and radiator fans both sides. Dry weight down from 199kg to 194kg.
This bike is as much at home on the track as it is on a Sunday afternoon ride out and there cannot be a better example currently on the market for sale.
