Descripción
1970 Volkswagen Variant 411 LE. This car was owned by the first owner for around 3 years then owned by two Brothers between them for 48 years until last March when the current owner purchased it. The car is showing 111, 000 miles, shows 3 previous owners on the V5. It comes with its original handbooks and service book which has 18 stamps in it up to late 1977. We have the bill of sale with it from 1973 when the second owner bought it, an original sales brochures and old MOTS. There are two original sets of keys with the car.
Body - Very original looking old car. I cant see any signs of rust and underneath looks solid and well protected. All panels look very straight. Paintwork is very nice with only very minor marks. Overall a lovely looking old car which is very original. Black vinyl roof fitted. Roof rack and additional spotlights come with it.
Mechanics - 1700 Injection engine which must have been a bit ahead of its time in 1970. Starts and runs no problem. Not really been used since last summer when it attended a few shows. Clutch feels a bit slow to release so we will have a look at that this week as it possibly just needs bled. Car appears to have been very well maintained over the years. In the paperwork it shows a new engine was fitted in 1983.
Interior - All standard and in very good order. No cracks, rips or tears.
Wheels - Very clean wheels with good tyres.
