Here I have my 1979 TVR Taimar for sale. This was a car that I acquired some time ago with the intention of having a TVR for my retirement, however I have far too many cars and not enough time to care for or drive them, reluctantly this means the Taimar has to go!
Registered in August 1979 and supplied by 'Bradburn & Wedge' the TVR dealer in Wolverhampton at the time, this particular car comes with a detailed history file supporting the current mileage of just under 38k miles. It still presents and drives very well having recently had a replacement water pump and a set of silicone coolant hoses as well as a general service. The car appears to have had a repaint a number of years ago and the body does have areas of micro-blistering apparent, but overall it's still pretty shiny. Stacks of previous MoT certifcates, tax discs, invoices, and a copy article from December 2000 'Classic Car' magazine where this actual car was used in a comparison test versus a Triumph GT6 and an MG-B GT V8!
