Ausgestattet mit einem Rover-V8-Motor und einer Leistung von 150 PS sowie einem Leergewicht von nur etwa 900 Kilogramm, sorgte der Morgan Plus 8 bei seinem Erscheinen in 1968 für erstaunliche Fahrleistungen. Wie alle Modelle der Firma Morgan wurde der Plus 8 von Hand gefertigt.
Für die Neuauflage des Morgan Plus 8 im Jahr 2012 wurde ein 367 PS starker BMW 4, 8 Liter-V8-Motor verbaut, der auf Kundenwusch mit ZF 6 Gang Automatik zu haben war. Optisch nur minimal retuschiert, aber mit modernster Technik an Bord beschleunigt der Morgan in nur 4, 5 Sekunden auf 100km/ h.
Dieser Morgan Plus 8 stammt aus einer bedeutenden Sammlung und begeistert neben seiner einmaligen und auffälligen Farbgebung durch sensationelle Fahrleistungen.

Equipped with a Rover V8 engine with an output of 150 HP and a curb weight of just 900 Kilograms, the Morgan Plus 8 provided sensational driving performance when it was launched in 1968. All Morgan models were handcrafted.
For the new edition of the Morgan Plus 8 in 2012, a 367 HP BMW 4. 8 liter V8 engine was used and was available with a ZF 6-speed automatic upon customer request. Visually only minimally retouched, but with the latest technology on board, the Morgan accelerates to 100 km/ h in just 4. 5 seconds.
