REG: WE 3375 Chassis number: 68074 Engine number: A7/ 539
This convertible has coach-work based on the Gordon Stadium style (who was a famous racing driver of the 1920’s and 30’s). It started life as an Austin Seven 2 door Saloon and the conversion was commissioned by an Austin Seven apprentice and engineer. The restoration took place some 20 years ago by a renowned Austin marque specialist in Bradford-upon-Avon and it shows. The total restoration included a new aluminium body built to the original specification and covered in off-white fabric with black leather trim and black tonneau complemented by black wire wheels, running boards and mudguards. This utterly lovely and immaculate motor car was originally sold by the Austin Motor Company, Longbridge to their dealer in Holland Park, London. It is tax and MoT exempt, is number matching and has been enjoyed by 6 former keepers. It starts and runs with no problems at all.
Features include: tool roll, starting handle, nickel plated grille, bakelite radiator cap fitted with an outside temperature gauge, brass dashboard dials, original steering wheel, headlights, stadium badges, adorned with the original numberplate WE 3375.
