1974 MGB GT in good all-round condition with a very solid underside, running and driving spot on. It’s a really smart looker. It starts very easily and runs well, pulling strongly through all the gears and the overdrive is working correctly, it stops well and is steady at speed with no wandering or vagueness and if you press the “go” pedal hard it’s quick at getting up to the speed limit. No smoke when pushed hard and no signs of any worrying leaks or drips after a run, we have checked the fluids for correct level and contamination and there's no breathing from the oil cap when running.
The interior is a delight, really well finished with piped seats matching the carpets, a very original and unmolested dashboard, all the switches, gauges and clocks are working, retractable front seat belts fitted, a lovely place to enter and get comfy for some motoring adventures.
Both doors, rear hatch and bonnet open, click shut and lock, the windows wind down, the quarter light vents twist, the side lights, head lights and horn, wiper, washers, heater fan all work. The full length Webasto sunroof works perfectly, sliding effortlessly back and forward and sealing tight.
The paintwork is very presentable, there are imperfection that will be found on close inspection and the car is priced accordingly. Bright work is all good, not new and slightly aged but all fine, full size spare wheel and jack in the boot. It’s completely solid underneath, the sill’s, floor pans, jacking points, chassis legs are solid, these are all shown in our video.
We have the full logbook, both keys, a small history files containing some invoices and old MOTS, its HPI clear with full printout and the car is TAX and MOT exempt. We have ordered a replacement exhaust back box as the current one has small hole.
There are loads of MGB’s to pick from, you simply will not find another this well demonstrated, with everything shown to you before you leave the house, nothing hidden and nothing to hide.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
