Description

Being a first year production Turbo, this is one of 274 cars produced in 1975 of which 15 was configured for RHD.

According to the registry for 1975 930 Turbos, this is the only one not accounted for out of the 15 RHD models.

We found the vehicle in a garage in Johannesburg, South Africa along with a 2. 7 RS Replica, built on a 1969 911E. The vehicles were meticulously maintained and used once a month.

The turbo has clocked 76 000 km and the car is in excellent condition. The photos were taken to give a clear indication of what the car is and the actual condition. This is all taken prior to detailing inside and outside.

This is truly a special car and we were in awe when we found this in South Africa of all places. There could not have been more than 2 vehicles sent to South Africa.

The interior is 100% original and so are the carpets. All the details also match the original birth certificate. She was ordered with 2 side mirrors. Nothing on this car is not authentic Porsche parts and she was entered into concourse in SA some 10 years ago and she apparently won. We are trying to find this information but it is not as easy as one would think.

The engine seems to be changed to a 1977 engine, according to the number on the engine 6770226. This is luckily still a 3. 0 original Turbo engine and not from a later 3. 3 model. The photos and document will show all the tags and numbers as is on the car.

She appears to have been repainted in the original colour, and a stellar job done on that. Everything on the car matches the birth certificate.
The South African paperwork (Natis) states 1975 and USED so export to anywhere in the world will be effortless.

The vehicle contains all its original books and manuals as well. Hence the Hexagon Motor Works stamp we found for the first service on 24/ 04/ 1975.

We cannot establish when the engine was changed or find a reason for it. We believe that this was most likely done in London in the early years of this car. Maybe in 1977. All looks like factory, from the wing, the intercooler and all along with that. These parts would not be found in South Africa and even more reason we believe this was done very early and in London where the car was delivered in March 1975 to Porsche Cars Great Britain. Production started in February 1975 so this is a very early car.

I am the owner of the vehicle and am looking to sell to a special collection or individual who does not see this as just another Turbo.

This example is truly in exceptional condition and runs as you would expect. We are open to reasonable offers which will be considered. We can ship worldwide.
