Stunning 450 SL with history from new. Including all booklets and stacks of maintenance invoices. The service booklet is full of stamps and even the warranty booklet with delivery date and the cardex card from the Mercedes factory are present. Delivered new in Milwaukee by Concours Motors Inc. and only 88, 101 miles driven. Equipped with air conditioning and the original hardtop. No expense has been spared to keep the SL in top condition. There are invoices for $ 31, 100 in maintenance and updates. From new, the R107 has been maniacally neatly maintained at Concours Motors Inc and Black Forest LCC. Not smoked, damage-free and since 2018 in Holland. All the necessary maintenance has also been carried out recently in Holland, including an update to the front suspension. Our SL cannot be compared with the average offer on the internet. The car drives, feels and steers like new. You can restore a car till you drop, but this R107 is unrestored and still in a like new condition. The outside is also original, rust-free and at least 90% in the 1st paint. The paint has a nice deep shine and is very smooth. The original hood was replaced in 2011 by a beautiful brown fabric hood and it still looks like new. The doors and lids close like a safe. This early version still has the beautiful small exterior mirrors and the elegant bumpers. Later, the bumpers unfortunately became monstrously large to meet the USA safety requirements.
The interior is in an incredibly beautiful condition. The leather upholstery was renewed in 2011, and the seats were then refilled. The dashboard is without any damage and all instruments are working as they should including the revised clock. The air conditioning has been updated and cools perfect, even the electric windows and power steering still work as it should. This price is extremely fair in relation to the stunning condition!
